Do You Only Take on Cases Involving Tax Law?
How Do I Appeal a Wage Garnishment? In order to hold onto your hard-earned money the first thing you should do is to obtain the help of Mr. Tomas at the firm so that he can guide you through these complex legal proceedings and represent you in court. In order to appeal your wage garnishment you will first need to fill out the 12153 IRS Form and file it with the IRS Office of Appeals. Once that is filed you can request a Collection Due Process Hearing but there are legal deadlines that you must abide by. You only have 30 days to do this from the time that you received notice of the tax levy against your wages. Contact the firm if you would like more information on this issue.
Is There More Than One Type of Audit?Once the IRS is certain that they want to do further examination into your tax returns, they then decide if they want to do the audit by mail correspondence or in person through an interview. For the mail correspondence audit, they will send you a letter asking for more clarifying information about your taxes. If this happens, you can either respond by mail or opt for the personal interview. The in-person audit however, is much more time consuming. This type of audit could take place in the nearest IRS office branch or in your business office or home and you have a say as to what time you are able to meet with them.
